Rome [Part one]

Rome, Italian Roma, is the capital of Italy. There are not that many cities which are as known and famous as Rome. Due to the great history and archeological founds it is visited by millions every year. And yet, I have been living 2hours from Rome for some time and my first visit happened last week.

Chocolate Pavlova

Pavlova is a must in the summer!
And the chocolate version is an even bigger must - especially when you add all those amazing berries you can find around!

I am not going to tell you the story why Pavlova is called Pavlova or how different/similar it is from meringue. Instead I am going to say:

G o m a k e t h i s a m a z i n g P a v l o v a y o u w o n ' t r e g r e t i t !

(the recipe is from Nigella Lawson with a few adjustments)

Peking duck

This may look like duck tacos, but it is a Peking duck dish - so actually not that different in the end.
Are you tired of having a classic roast duck? Then give it an Asian twist and you got this great dish!

Often referred to as the "Pearl of the Black Sea", Nesebar is a rich city-museum defined by more than three millennia of ever-changing history. The older part bears evidence of occupation by a variety of different civilisations over the course of its existence.

Paella with Chicken

I'm back and I brought this amazing recipe with me! A Spanish paella!
If you have ever been to Spain then there's a great chance that you have tasted this amazing dish or at least walked by restaurants which offer a variety.

This dish originated in Valencia but today is very common throughout the whole country. Personally I was a little afraid to try out this recipe because it is quite difficult to make - but I went to visit my dad and guess what he just bought ... Yes, that's right . A paellera! And that dear all, is the pan you need to master a good paella, the thing to master a perfect paella is probably to be Spanish.

Anyways, we decided to try out a paella on our own and this beauty was the result!
Please excuse the poor quality, I didn't bring my camera and had to make a photo with my phone.
